The Specialist supervises depredation/nuisance technicians who assist with seasonal depredation. The Specialist responds to depredation situations involving terrestrial wildlife species, alleviating the Wildlife Program Manager, Biologists, and Conservation Officers so they may spend quality time performing their core duties. The Specialist coordinates and works closely with landowners, conservation organizations, DWR personnel, federal, state, and local governments to plan and accomplish the goals and objectives in state laws, rules, policies and work plans. The Utah Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) is seeking a Landowner Depredation Specialist who coordinates, oversees and implements the tasks associated with the Depredation and Nuisance programs in the DWR WESTERN portion of the Southern Utah region.
